..a duplicate from my shop online - some editing
Welcome!
Jewelry making was fun for the duration of time it lasted. ..A few years... Coming Soon! No, for real, I'm highly motivated by ideas that come into mind, often times sharing with my sister-in-law, but often times not writing anything down and eventually just gets forgotten. Ideas, usually that can be prosperous for patents - but it's to bad, it's lost forever.
I'm into Crafting now. Created and Made an Awesome Convertible Apron Coming Soon. Only one was made by me last month. The idea came upon thinking of a gift for a lil boy - my Nephew whose turning three soon and instead of buying him toys where he would grow out of it, I've decided to make something he can use in the future as well as now, but it seems as tho he's not interested in wearing things around the neck nor on top of his head. At least if the child won't wear it, the adult, or parent, or grandparent, or someone in the family can put it to use.
This most likely could be a: Child and Adult Custom Made Designer Apron!
My very first apron I've ever made was when I was in Brownies in the 1980's - the design is fairly old and really, very simple, and it works.
I had gone into this fabric store that I've never been in and didn't know they'd been in business for many years. They specialize in fabrics of all walks of Designers and pre-cut squares by the bulk/package for Quilters - hey, that's another idea, someone can use and do for their business-it'll be an stolen idea, but hey... As I was saying, since having that idea of the making an apron as a gift for lil Nephew, I decided to purchase an material and see from there. I had no idea of names of Designers, nor the variety of patterns that are printed on textiles these days. It's a facinating world to see so many interesting things out on the market today, as well as listening and Discovering Artist from the Music World. I'm real happy to have finished one apron which took a VERY long time to make, a lot of pressing involved and figuring things out, but all in all it has been enjoyable in the Creative Process.

Toe Tendonitis
I got one word - Ouch. I got a message that my uncle got a glider chair for me if I'm interested... Of course, I was, estatic to hear they got another one, so I went to check it out and loved it - didn't even sit in it - b/c I've tried it out at a store and also one they aleady have, so when I got home, I put the glider chair in the middle of my room since that was the only place to put it, it became my main chair to sit in ALL THE TIME. Anyways, since it became so cramped b/c of all the craft stations going on all in this one room, I wasn't paying attention about manuvering around in cramped up situations, so there's this one 5-sided wood block seat, that I would use to sit in at one of my work station that was off to the side up against a foldable table, and before you know it, I jammed the lil toes right on the right angle of that block! I tell ya, the pain, it was THE MOST EXCRUCIATING pain I ever felt - it wasn't going away, it took a very long time, it's funny, I ddin't even go, to rub it, or massage it, I just left it - - it was as if it didn't matter... such pain, oh, it'll go away.... kind of thing, just SO strange! By about 8 hours I woke up feeling great, looking forward to my training for volunteering at the Discovery Shop. As I went to put on my sneakers, the most painful feeling in the toes came apparent that this could be serious, I couldn't cancel my appointment since I was looking forward to it, so I kept my schedule as is, training, then grocery, cooking. I found my self limping most of the day, just ignoring the pain. To me, the volunteering semi-training day (since there weren't any donations, nothing for them to show me) went pretty smoothly. It seem kind of dull to me, i'd rather be crafting - ya know, making things in time that just seem to stand still in volunteering on a dead day such as it was on tuesday. Well, anyways, after walking on the foot for some time, after 2 hours of hanging out at the Discovery Shop, Grocery shopping - REALLY QUICKLY - the pain, I got home and the toes just swelled and SO much pressure - even some sciatic going on when the foot is on the side - like during sleep. I diagnose the injury myself, since I recognize it from previous tendonitis.. This would be my 4th time experiencing tendonitis, NOT something I like, nor enjoy, ya know, being temporarily handicapped is tough. I had to cancel my volunteering that I was gonna donate my time for 6 months, just to heal a 3 month injury, can't carry my nephew, whose coming this weekend to celebrate two birthday parties - he's my lift weights person- anyways, lifting a 30 some pound boy gives you great muscle-was really looking forward to lifting and walking. I'll be hanging on Y! answers and helping out on the community Q&A section, do that tile bleach that was scheduled for Wednesday .
