DIY NOTEBOOK MAKING FROM EVERYDAY RECYCLED FOOD BOXES

#1. Start collecting food boxes from cereals, cakes, jello, candy, cookies, etc.

#2. Cut the top, bottom and edges off by following on the perforated lines of the boxes.

#3. Gather stacks of papers, folded and cut to the right size and hole punch at the right location.

#4. Stack the papers together for binding. I used yarn and a crochet needle. I find this to be the most simplest method of binding everything together. Use a 6.50 K Hook size.

#5. After binding is completed, tie knots to finish it off. I used a criss-cross method to binding. I find it to be stronger this way. (see the pics as reference.)

DIY Card Making

#1.) you take a piece of paper: this one here is 9" x 12" Strathmore Watercolor cold press 300 gram/meter square

#2.) you create a painting, design, image, cut 'n paste, etc. on a piece of strathmore paper

#3.) This one I used a tip of a wooden orange chopstick and a cap of a watercolor tube and dipped into saturated water colors without clean-up in between paint dip. For full paint vibrancy, clean tip before re-dips.

#4.) You fold the paper lengthwise (so you can make a set of matching cards)

#5.) You carefully center it and cut the card in half. (easier done on a cutting board)

Now you have a beautiful set of cards ready to use :)
